Most of our employees have been through similar difficulties as international students and understand these woes. Morrie Berez

Mr. Berez is retired from the U.S. Government after 39 years at four prominent U.S. Government agencies - (1) The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS); (2) the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS); (3) the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO); and (4) the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). In 30 of those years at U.S. Immigration, Mr. Berez was the Chief Immigration Official responsible for managing the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) and for overseeing all of the U.S. schools and exchange sponsors approved to enroll F-1 Foreign (academic and ESL) Students, M-1 Foreign (vocational) students, and J-1 Foreign Exchange Students and Exchange Visitors. Mr. Berez was responsible for Foreign Student policies and regulations; he directed and managed the design and development of the Student-Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to annually manage, screen, monitor and track over 800,000 F-1/M-1 foreign students and J-1 exchange visitors at over 2,000 schools and exchange programs throughout the U.S.


Steve Hendryx

A graduate of MIT and Harvard, with an MBA from Stanford Business School, Mr. Hendryx has served as an executive, consultant and diplomat during the 40 years’ span of his career. During the 20 years, he has worked in China, he served as the Commercial Minister Counselor in the US Embassy in Beijing, as Vice President with Nortel Networks, as well as consulting with the Haier Group and Mengniu Dairy Group. Mr. Hendryx’s consulting career began with the Boston Consulting Group and Bain and Company, assisting Fortune 500 clients with key strategic decisions. Steve currently serves as Sr. Vice President of Henry Global Consulting, the world’s leading immigration investment agency.


Larry Namer

An entertainment industry veteran with over 40 years professional experience in cable television, live events and new media, Larry Namer is a founding partner of Metan Global Entertainment Group (Metan), a venture created to develop and distribute entertainment content and media specifically for Chinese speaking audiences in China and abroad. An accomplished entrepreneur, Mr. Namer is the co-founder of E! Entertainment Television, a company now valued at over $3.5 billion USD, and the creator of several successful companies in the United States and overseas.


Bill Yuan

Former Head of Merrill Lynch Asset Management Asia based in Hong Kong, a respected thought leader in financial services, and an advisor to governments, Fortune 500 companies and leading Chinese firms. Mr. Yuan began his finance career at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker in Mergers & Acquisitions, after attending Cornell University and Harvard University’s JFK School of Economics and Government as a Mason Fellow. He then served as a senior vice president and co-manager at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Portfolio Management Corporation with dual functions as co-head of the Capital Markets Derivative team, and Chairman of the Technology Investment Management and Executive Policy Committee. Mr. Yuan then became founder and Managing Director of the Corporate Institutional Services Group at Merrill Lynch Asset Management. He was the Head of Merrill Lynch Asset Management Asia, and Chairman of Merrill Lynch Global Asset Allocation Committee, which in totality had nearly half-trillion dollars (USD) under management. Simultaneously, Mr. Yuan was the Chief Investment Officer/ Portfolio Manager of the $1.2 Billion AmerAsia Hedge Fund domiciled in Asia with special emphasis on technology/ media/ entertainment and telecom (TMT).
